O Bumbo Seat

*set to the tune of O Christmas Tree*

O Bumbo Seat
O Bumbo Seat
You have made my life complete

I doubted if
You were worth the price
But you've made life easy
And that is nice

O Bumbo Seat
O Bumbo Seat
You make meal time such a treat

O Bumbo Seat
O Bumbo Seat
You wipe up, so nice and neat

Because of you
There's no highchair
Taking up room
Everywhere

O Bumbo Seat
O Bumbo Seat
May Addie never outgrow you!

We love our bumbo too! The only problem is that T's thighs are so huge that ever time I go to take him out of the seat, the seat comes up with him and I have to rip it off his bum/thighs. Oh well, I still use it and love it :)

Third verse

But when she does
I'll be sure to send
The bumbo chair
To my dear friend

So her third-born
can enjoy
the benefits of sitting up
upon this toy

Oh Bumbo Seat
Oh Bumbo Seat
Me and My friends adore you!

p.s. no, not pregnant with number three. just planning ahead. ;)

I love the bumbo too. I so wish it had been invented for the other kids. Makes life grand with a baby! I love your little song - very creative.

And in regards to your comment forever ago on my blog about the Valentine decor - yes, that was a tole painting class we did when we were freshman. Hilarious. I still have that decoration too (but it sadly hasn't made it out of the box the past couple years.)

Kerry - I've heard several people mention that happened with their baby's legs. Sounds like a design flaw to me. Seems like one size should fit all.

Michelle - love the third verse. Very catchy. I would love for your third born to inherit the seat considering my third born is definitely my last born. Here's to hoping yours is a girl. We wouldn't want him to be made fun of in a pink seat!

Monique - I think my Valentine's girl met an untimely demise somewhere along the way. It was quite a few years back that she broke into too many pieces to fix. I have a feeling Jackson and his two year old self had something to do with it...
