When we were in Utah last month, we got to spend a day with one of our favorite 4 year olds. Cousin Lezlee was in town with her mom and brothers, so we kidnapped her for a day. We went to the Children's Museum, Build - A - Bear, and Rumbi's for lunch (that was more for me than them). All day people asked if they were twins, sisters, etc. Delaney (who is the MUCH bossier of the two) would always say, "No, we're cousins. She's four and I'm four and three-quarters." The good news is, Lez is a laid back kind of gal (must get it from her dad) and so that just seemed to roll right off her back.
Lezlee has a major thing for horses. MAJOR. So, of course, the true-scale model horse they could sit on was a big hit at the museum.

They played at the construction site for the longest of any exhibit. Must be hereditary!

Here are the girls at Build - A - Bear. Lez made a unicorn and aptly named it, "Unicorn, Unicorn" and Delaney made a rainbow bear named "Madelyn", but has since been renamed 27 more times. (They both wore Hello Kitty shirts that day. Isn't that a funny coincidence?)

The girls with sunglasses I bought them because it was super sunny and they kept tripping because they were walking with their eyes so squinted. They wanted ones that looked like mine, so we had to get them in the boys department.

Though we wish we lived down the street from our Crittenden cousins, we love seeing them any chance we get. These two are such opposites, but get along so great. Here's to hoping they'll be roommates at BYU one day!

oh i am laughing so hard! D is hilarious! Great pictures of the girls' day out. thanks for the smile. Sure needed it. Plumber had to come today. I'll leave it at that. :)
They are so cute! When Alli was 4 and 3/4, she brought home a paper from school. It had the number 4 and then 3 circles. I couldn't figure out what it was...until she told me she wrote how old she was...4 and 3 quarters! Gotta love it!
I cannot believe how much Delaney looks like you in the picture when you mentioned their shirts. Holy cow she is a Kelli carbon copy!
Delaney is a crack up!! I cannot believe she is only four and three quarters - it feels like she has been a part of your lives forever! I love the pictures you posted - sounds like a fun day.
Also loved your last post too, about your family. The Crittenden/Clark/Ryan family is truly a special one. How I love you all - and I agreed when you said you are a Mom first, friend second. How fun it will be when the relationship changes later on!
LOVED the post!! I hadn't seen those pictures before of the fun day! Lezlee talks about it ALL THE TIME! And yes, she certainly gets the laid back personality from her dad. She is probably more like him than either of the boys. It was so fun to be with you guys this last week! I hope the kids didn't get sick while you were gone!
