My kitchen island at 8:47 at night (clockwise from top left corner)
1. Addie's bib from dinner. A lady in my ward makes them and they are the BEST because they cover her arms. Here's her website.
2. Jeff's ipod. Jackson was playing "Tank Wars" and what a shock - didn't put it back where he found it.
3. Addie's Easy Mac snack she had to have before bed, but only took 2 bites of
4. Plastic cinderella tea party set.
5. Delaney's drawing of a cowgirl. She's especially proud of her ability to draw cowboy hats.
6. More pieces to the tea set.
7. School directory which I needed when we discovered that a girl in Delaney's Daisy troop wore Delaney's boots home from school.
8. Red bag that was dropped off by a mom from Jackson's class. It's full of candy canes and Christmas pencils for tomorrow's class holiday party.
9. Football shaped Oreo. That's what grocery shopping with Dad will get you.
10. Jackson's spelling words for the week. He always does great, but this week is going to bomb it. "I before E, except after C" is a tricky principle, and true to the English language, does not always apply. I don't even think I'd get 100% this week.
11. My water bottle. Probably the 3rd or 4th of the day. I am terrible at the number of water bottles I send to a landfill. There's nothing better than a brand new bottle of water, though. I admit it's very un-"green" of me.
12. 57 Oreo pops for Delaney and Jackson's holiday parties tomorrow.
13. 2 rolls of ribbon yielded 58 ties. How's that for close?
14. Nesting bowls from dinner. The missionaries came for dinner and we had Beef Stroganoff. It's a favorite around our house and the elders left with full bellies and and Oreo pop each.
It's amazing the story my kitchen tells every evening.

That was fun to read... bc all I noticed when I first looked at the photo were the pops.
and one last thing :)
You better get a Britta
My kitchen is always a disaster! But I'm jealous you have an island! That will be a must in our next house! Anyway, we have that same tea set and it too is spread in pieces in various parts of the house. And I wanted to tell you that I am hosting the "Strom family" Christmas at our house on sunday before we leave for Chicago and I am going to make your hot chocolate. I haven't made it before, so I hope I don't mess up!
I love this - you are so creative at detailing the every day parts of your life, I love it!
